Two Flash Demos : NetBeans + jRuby + Rails

posted Tuesday, 6 March 2007
> There has been a flood of overwhelmingly positive comments (like this one and this one and this one ) from the Ruby community of what NetBeans has and is doing at adding jRuby support in NetBeans.  Two new flash demos from Roman Strobl offer a view into some killer features for Ruby developers.  The first demo shows off jRuby on Rails - you can see it here.  The other demo shows of advanced Ruby editing features.  You can see it here.  More info can be found at Tor Norbye's blog.  There are alot of Ruby developers now trying out NetBeans 6.0 just for the Ruby support.  Very cool and others have noticed.  Besides all the blogs of developers trying and liking NB + jRuby, I ran across this EclipseZone article, NetBeans gets Ruby.  Does Eclipse ? Another interesting read from Daniel Spiewak.
