The Best NetBeans UI Builder Tutorial : Tutorial with Accompanying Flash Demos

posted Tuesday, 17 January 2006
The latest version of the Matisse tutorial, GUI Building in IDE 5.0 is out and it is really, vastly improved.  Besides the examples there are some very nice flash demos that accompany the tutorial and explain the features of NetBeans UI builder and there are also flash demos of the actual building of a UI.  The tutorial covers alot of territory : using the builder, creating a GUI container, adding components, resizing components, aligning components, how to adjust component anchoring, setting auto-resizing behavior and editing component properties - all in about 30 minutes. You can find the tutorial here. More info here.
Matisse allows layout, design and generation of GUIs.
