The Swing Pointers have been updated. They also are now aggregated with a new color scheme to let you know the new stuff (>) and the older stuff (>). There is a considerable body of Swing/Java 2D works that include a wide range of topics. I am including some links to some of the past works and it by no means is comprehensive. These are recent (past few months) additions to the large number of articles already available. Synth Subtleties

Some of the standard links such as the Swing tutorial, Java 2D tutorial and Swing Sightings, (recently 21 was added) should be looked at if you are new and just getting started to building Swing applications or want to see what people have built already (Swing Sightings). The collection of links are some of the most recent articles - I will try and routinely update these Swing Pointers. Since I routinely need to know what's out there, Swing- and NetBeans -wise - I might as well share it. One of the key additions to the above sites is JavaDesktop. - it provides a number of useful links worthy of reading, as well.
