New NetBeans Builds Make Available the Simple, Innovative CVS Support

There is a new Beta
version of the new NetBeans CVS Support available in the NetBeans
builds. The new CVS Support is a new simple and innovative
way of dealing with versioning support. It is NOT derived from
the current NetBeans VCS support, but

instead
is meant as a
lightweight approach with less focus on architectural abstraction
and much more attention to user interaction. Some of the new
features include :
- Full project integration
- Versioning view (shows all changes in selected context,
local changes in real time)
- Refactoring integration
- Visual indication of changes using colors
- Tight editor integration (for example, revision
annotations visible directly in the editor)
- Support for working with branches
- and much more!
