NetBeans Rich Client Platform : Production Collision Repair App

posted Friday, 27 March 2009
I have to say that when I ran into this article it really grabbed my interest.  First off, forget tutorials and note that this is an in-production application built on top of the NetBeans platform.  Second, I always like a person that is in one field (in this case a Mechanical Engineer) and that moves to software and then writes a killer app.  In this case Damian Carey wrote an application for collision repair shops.  Geertjan interviewed him in an article, Collision Repair Shops on the NetBeans Platform.  Excellent story - nice application which shows off the rcp aspect of NetBeans.
