NetBeans Prolog IDE : A How-To-Create and A Prolog IDE

posted Friday, 23 May 2008
Prolog IDE.  There is an interesting series about the building of a Prolog IDE using NetBeans platform.  You can find a description of the project here.  In nine short entries the author walks you through the creation of a Prolog IDE via module creation, Schliemann and a number of other NetBeans features.  The other starts by showing you how to create a File Type, editing the template, adding language support, adding a visual Prolog modeler, adding Prolog structure analysis to the visual modeler, adding a compiler, creating Prolog projects, creating a new project template, adding an Options panel and finally creating a NetBeans plugin.  The GeeWhiz Prolog home contains a NetBeans plugin and a complete list of how the author created the Prolog IDE.

xVM VirtualBox 1.6 vs VMWare Server 2.0 Beta 2.  If you missed ZDNet's review of Sun's VirtualBox versus VMware Server - you can find it here.  I've tried out the latest VirtualBox and really like it.
