Killer Screencast : NetBeans 6 Database Driven Matisse Demonstration

posted Friday, 14 December 2007
Wow! The new NetBeans 6 GUI Builder (aka Matisse) blows its predecessor out of the water - it is the killer app for Swing desktop development.  Roman Strobl demonstrates how to go about building a project leveraging Bean Bindings and Swing App Framework which allow him to build an application which easily permits tying the GUI components to a database, to images and to dynamic map services.  All of this in less than 10 minutes.  You can find the screencast at JavaLobby.
