Java Studio Creator 2 Update 1 : Major Update, JSF and AJAX Class at JavaOne 2006

Java Studio Creator 2 Update 1 is now out, free and available. There are some major changes. First, the bundled database is now the Java DB (Derby). Second, a new version of the app server is included - Sun Java System Application Server (Platform Edition) 8.2 is now included and replaces the 8.1 version. Third, Hot Fixes are included in the update (check out Hot Fixes on the Update 1 page). Finally, there are some new and very Cool Samples that have been added that include AJAX Components auto-complete Text Field, Progress Bar, Map Viewer, Select Value Text Field, Rich Text Area Editor, PayPal Buy Now Button and Rating component. There will also be a JSF and AJAX class by Java University on Monday, May 15th @ JavaOne 2006.
