J2SE 1.5 Emerges, NetBeans 3.6 Beta Also

Update : NetBeans 3.6 Beta is out. The "buzz" has started.  J2SE 1.5 Beta is here. Already over at JavaLobby the debate is going on whether to run JavaLobby on it.  The Beta 1 of J2SE 1.5 is now available.  The summary of new features can be found here and the supported system
configurations can be found here.  Calvin Austin has done a very nice article, J2SE in a Nutshell.  One nice feature worth looking at is Class File Sharing.  Some more nice write-ups on Garbage Collection, Thread Priority, the new Ocean look & feel,  Already J2SE 1.5 sample code is popping up.

Note when NetBeans 3.6 is released it will work with 1.5  J2SE.
Worth reading is Unleashing NetBeans which discusses the emerging version of NetBeans.
