This demo shows the NetBeans and Glassfish/JEE 5.0 to create an EJB 3.0 solution. This is a very nice tour of NetBeans using cutting edge technologies.
GlassFish has now be announced. Very cool. What is GlassFish ? It's Sun's Application Server open sourced. The site focuses on Java EE 5 technologies and the GlassFish Application Server.
Here are my notes from the event. A huge turnout resulted in some sessions offering standing room only. It was a phenomenal showing by the NetBeans community. Sun open sourced a collaboration modules for NetBeans and the Matisse demo was great.
Our session, Twelve Reasons to Use NetBeans, is over - what a great time. Lots of work but lots of good feelings. Also another great review of NetBeans.
New NetBeans framework, tools and services are unveiled at NetBeans Software Day - all centered on developer collaboration. Collaboration modules (tools) are available for download.
They have had to create bigger spaces for the large turnout. Hopefully you got in - there are going to be some very cool demos and sessions. Oh and I bumped into this informative write-up on NetBeans and Internationalization.
A new module is available which allows you to migrate your JBuilder Project to NetBeans IDE 4.1 and an important improvement has now moved to preview mode - NetBeans new redesigned CVS Support.
