Virtualization : xVM VirtualBox on MacOS X Running OpenSolaris 2008.05 Guest + JDK 6u10 (Pics)

Loaded VirtualBox on MacOS X. It now runs in 1440x900. Loaded OpenSolaris 2008.05 as a guest, then Java SE 6 update 10 and NetBeans 6.1. This mean I can do two things - run Java SE 6u10 and run OpenOffice SDK and develop OpenOffice extensions.

NetBeans has powered ahead in a number of areas. The latest was the arrival of NetBeans 6.1 with a number of new features. One area of particular interest to Web 2.0 types - is support for PHP. In addition, it is gaining really nice Scala support.
