GlassFish v2 Beta2 is here, v3 Preview too (screencast)

 | I recently downloaded GlassFish - it was a very clean download and worked very well. I could easily add it as a server to NetBeans and the administration tools also was very nice. Now GlassFish v2 Beta 2 is available (b48) and it is offering clustering, load-balancing, Microsoft web service interoperability, added support for AJAX/Scripting/RESTful web services, | high availability and improved performance. Also work has been done on fixing a performance issue with in-mem replication feature, adding more modules to the update center and completing the admin GUI. Also bumped into a screencast of what is coming in GlassFish v3 - also check out the blog describing what's coming in v3. There is a technology preview of v3 here. |
