GlassFish, Tomcat and Web Services

posted Monday, 15 January 2007
Bumped into these two live product comparisons - GlassFish and Tomcat and Web Services Stack Comparison on the glassfishwiki.org.  The GlassFish and Tomcat chart is a comparison which compares and provides information on what built into GlassFish and Tomcat.  The Web Services Comparison chart does a stack comparison of Axis (1.x, 2), Celtix, Glue, JBossWS, XFire and GlassFish.  Note Tomcat is built into NetBeans - it is used in a number of tutorials like, Securing a Web Application in NetBeans IDE 5.5 and NetBeans IDE 5.5 Quick Start Guide for Web Services.  As well GlassFish and Sun Java App Server 9 are supported. Note that GlassFish web site is located here .  A great GlassFish resource is the Aquarium which can be found here .
