Eclipse and NetBeans : Support for Java Persistence API

posted Monday, 1 May 2006
Martin Adamek has written an excellent comparison between NetBeans and Eclipse and of their support for the Java Persistence API in his blog.
Download NetBeans (5.5)!
His blog entry looks at the work going into NetBeans 5.5 and the Eclipse's Dali Project which target  support for Java Persistence APIs. Martin goes through Project setup, creating entities, editing entities and using entities.  He compares the two IDEs approach.  It's a great read if you are interested in what both IDEs are doing.  I won't spoil the plot - read the blog - it offers a nice article on what's happening in this area.  You can find it here.
