Always reading bits...

Its the shadows and reflections cast from the future that interest me.

Cutting Edge : AB5k, Java Desklets

posted Saturday, 10 March 2007
> Joshua Marinacci and Robert Cooper have released a Java Widget System dubbed AB5k. You can find the main AB5k web site at http://www.ab5k.org.  AB5k runs small mini-programs or desklets.  There is a lot of excitement over AB5k - you can read some of the comments on Josh's blog. There is a developer area here.  This follows on a nice demonstration of f3 which shows how to create small desktop accessories similar to MacOS proprietary Dashboard widgets or Yahoo widgets. f3 is not yet available.
