Developing Java Applications on Solaris. This article examines the ways the Solaris OS integrates its native capabilities with the JVM and Java development tools.   This article discusses DTrace and how DTrace and a number of other useful tools that can be used in conjunction with Solaris 10.

OpenOffice 3.0 Sun Presenter Console Extension. (Thanks to Bistro for the pointer to GullFOSS entry). The Presenter Console extension provides the presenter with information that is not visible to the audience.   While the audience is viewing the slide deck - the presenter's screen a live preview of the current slide, a preview of the next slide and tool bar with navigational buttons and the current and elapsed time.
