Apple Makes Available J2SE 5.0 Release 3

If you haven't noticed - Apple has released J2SE 5.0 Release 3 - which translates to 1.5.0_05.  Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Release 3 includes version 1.5.0_05 and improves functionality of J2SE 5.0 on Mac OS X v 10.4 Tiger 10.4.2 and later. You can find it here.  This release does not replace the existing installation of J2SE 1.4.2.  Also available is the documentation. Obviously this is good news for  those that run Java-based ...also get NetBeans 5.0 Beta 2

applications on a Powerbook.  Apple's release notes for J2SE 5.0 Release 3 can be found here.  NetBeans IDE 5.0 Beta 2 is running nicely on it.
